Elementalos was a NYFA Project I worked on as a designer on multiple aspects and an artist for environment art. My duties included:

  • Pitching the concept and idea for the game and collaborate with others to make it better

  • Designing levels layout with puzzle solving element and build it in game engine

  • Game narrative design

  • Modeling, texturing environment assets

  • VFX (Fog, Portal, Lighting)

  • Polish game with better visual

  • UI Design

Overall, I spent my time building the levels, building the layout to ensure the gameplay is fun, entertaining and collaborating with teammates.

LEVEL LAYOUT (LEVEL 01-04)

My primary work on Elementalos was designing the 4 levels I mentioned in the pitch. All 4 levels are designed to serve as the prologue of the game, and each levels requires player to understand and use their abilities to overcome the challenges and solve puzzle.

*Level 03-04 were blocked out in game engine but due to lack of times and human resources, we’re unable to have them polished out.

GAMEPLAY SCREENSHOTS

Elementalos is a 3D third-person puzzle platformer game that requires players to switch in between different kind of elemental form. You wake up surrounded by floating islands and you realized you can’t remember who you are and why are you here. A cube falls from space and a glimpse of one of your abilities appears in your mind, you figured you must get out of this place and seek for your memories.

NARRATIVE DESIGN
